Customers can return products purchased from the online store if they simply change their minds within fourteen (14) days of receipt. Before returning the products, Customers must contact the Customer Service Department, either by phone (tel: 357 25 38 49 99), or by sending an e-mail (limassol@marinastores.gr). In particular, the customer has the aforementioned right to return a product purchased from the online store without stating reasons, subject to the following terms and conditions:
· Within fourteen (14) calendar days from the delivery or receipt of the product
· To accept the return of the product, the original purchase document (retail receipt, invoice) must be presented by the person who originally purchased the product and whose details are shown on the purchase document
· The return of the item is accepted only if the customer has previously paid any amount charged by LALIZAS SA for the shipment of the product to them and the shipping costs for its return
· After the return of the product, LALIZAS SA is obliged to refund the customer the amount received. If the customer paid by credit card, LALIZAS SA, upon receipt of the fee from the bank, will inform the bank to cancel the transaction, and the bank will take all necessary actions. Following this notification, LALIZAS SA shall bear no responsibility for the time and method of executing the refund, as this is regulated by the contract between the issuing bank and the customer. If the customer chose the option 'pick up from the store,' the refund will be made at any MARINA Stores.
· The refund of the price due to withdrawal by the customer will be made no later than within fourteen (14) working days from the time that LALIZAS SA has received confirmed notice of the withdrawal.
· Delivery costs are not refundable
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal according to article 4 § 10 of Act No. 2251/1994 does not apply:
· In cases when the price of the products has been paid in a physical MARINA Stores and the products have been received from the physical MARINA Stores, as the sale is not considered to have been made at a distance.
· When the returned products have been used and are not in excellent condition.
· When their packaging is not undamaged and complete.
· In the purchase of perishable or soon-to-expire goods
· In customized products manufactured to the customer's specifications or clearly designed exclusively for the customer
· Sealed communication products (audio recordings, CDs, videos or software) which the customer has removed from the packaging
· The purchase of newspapers and magazines of all kinds, excluding subscription contracts for the supply of these forms
· The provision of accommodation other than for residential purposes, transportation of goods, car rental services, catering, or services related to leisure activities if the contract specifies a particular date or deadline for performance
· The purchase of digital content not provided on a physical medium, if execution has commenced with the prior express consent of the consumer and confirmation on their part that they thereby waive their right of withdrawal.
Legal Warranty
When a customer purchases products, either in a store or online, they are entitled, according to Cypriot and EU legislation, to a warranty of at least two years. The manufacturer or company is responsible for any damage or defect of the product within the two-year warranty period, covering all repair costs (materials, labor, etc.) without charge to the customer.
If a product purchased by the customer within the EU turns out to be defective, or does not correspond to the description/features, or does not match the advertised specifications, or does not have the quality and performance that products of this type usually have, then the customer is entitled to:
· Repair of the product
· Replacement of the product
· Price reduction
Cancellation of the contract and full refund of the amount
Warranty Limitation: This warranty does not apply to physical damage. It also does not apply if:
· The defect may have arisen due to factors such as the product being used contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, rough handling, exposure to moisture or extreme thermal or environmental conditions, sudden changes in these conditions, corrosion, oxidation, unauthorized alterations or connections, unauthorized opening or repair, repair using unauthorized parts, misuse, improper installation, accidents, natural phenomena, spillage of food or liquids, exposure to chemical products, or other actions beyond the reasonable control of the company (including, but not limited to, defects in consumable parts such as batteries, all of which, by their nature, have a limited lifespan), unless the defect is directly caused by defects in materials, design, or human workmanship.
· The product is not inspected by the company's technical department to establish and confirm the device's defect. For this limited warranty to apply, the customer must present the original product purchase invoice and deliver the product to the company.
